Wirrilla Shiraz 2005

Vibrant red in colour with underlying purple hues, this wine displays rich dark berry forest fruit with underlying plum & spicy veritable aromas. It is complemented by a medium bodied mid-palate, characteristic balanced oak and a long flavoursome soft tannin finish. This wine will cellar well and will over time develop further complexity. It is best consumed with the best prime fillet you can find - beef, lamb or kangaroo whilst cooking over the BBQ with friends.

Wirrilla Shiraz Cabernet 2005

A classic Australian blend. Vibrant red in colour, this wine displays a ripe berry & plum fruit nose & a mid-palate flavor complemented by subtle, integrate French oak. It is long & flavoursome with a fine tannin finish. The herbaceiouness of the Cabernet rises over the rich underlying currant & blackberry fruit of the Shiraz. Whilst this wine will benefit from careful cellaring, it is best consumed now over a long lunch & with good company!

Wirrilla Cabernet Merlot 2004

54% Cabernet 46% Merlot. This wine shows dense, dark red in colour with crimson/purple hues. On the nose there is a mixed array of cassis, mint and plum aromas complimented by choclaty oak characteristics. This Cabernet provides a cedar, mint background and find abundant tannins that give structure & support to the finish. Excellent drinking now & will continue to drink well & improve over the next 5-7 years. Serve with rare red meats or hard cheese.

Wirrilla Verdelho 2006

This wine is pale straw in colour with youthful green tints. On the nose, tropical fruit aromas of pineapple and passionfruit dominate with subtle spicy nuances. The palate is lively and fresh with a persistence of tropical flavours and a fine acid balance characterized by lime and apple influences on the finish. Verdehlo is a great food wine matching exceptionally well with white meats and Asian influenced cuisine. Serve well chilled and enjoy now and over the next two years.

Wirrilla Semillon Sauvignon Blanc 2006

This wine is pale straw/green in colour. On the nose, lifted passionfruit combines with gooseberry aromas initially, but opens up to reveal green bean, herbal and lemon characters. The palate is fresh and zesty with layers of tropical and herbal flavours through the mid-palate, displaying excellent fruit weight and varietal character. A swathe of refreshing lemon acidity provides structure and heightens the finish. Made to be enjoyed as a young wine and is the perfect accompaniment served well chilled with summer fare, such as salads and fresh simple seafood dishes.

Tuckerbox Shiraz 2006

This Shiraz has spice, pepper and berries on the nose with a great mouthfeel of sweet fruit with soft tannins and a long finish.

Tuckerbox Chardonnay 2006

This Chardonnay has peach, melons and nuts on the nose with a balanced soft and creamy finish.

Gundagai


Paterson's Cabernet Sauvignon 2003

This 100% Cabernet Sauvignon wine was produced from grapes grown on the Paterson family's vineyards near Gundagai, NSW. It exhibits a deep red, medium body with dark berries and cedar on the nose. It has a fine grain tannin. This wine was matured in French and American oak Barriques for 16 months prior to bottling and will benefit from careful medium term cellaring. 14% alcohol.

Paterson's Shiraz 2005

This 100% Cabernet Sauvignon wine was produced from grapes grown on the Paterson family's vineyards near Gundagai, NSW. This wine exhibits a creamy, nutty, peachy aroma with underlying fruit concentration. It was matured in French and American oak Barriques for approx 16 months prior to bottling and will benefit from careful medium term cellaring. It pairs beautifully with summer salads or can stand alone as a soft refreshment. 13% alcohol.

This wine was produced from handpicked Chardonnay grapes grown in the Gundagai region of NSW. The wine was partially barrel fermented in French oak and exhibits nutty/buttery complexity combined with fresh fruit characters. It will benefit from short term cellaring.

Rhiannon Shiraz 2006

This full bodied fruit driven Shiraz has delicate blueberry and cherry fruits on the palate with soft, smooth tannins and lingering mouthfeel. Enjoy now or suited to short term cellaring.

Rhiannon Chardonnay 2007

This unwooded Chardonnay shows tropical fruit, pineapple and peach on the nose while the palate has overtones of citrus, grapefruit and pineapple. A lovely wine to compliment fresh summer foods.

The 2006 Shiraz is a medium bodied, elegant wine showing true plum flavours with hints of leather and cedar, possessing a clean lingering finish.

This lively Semillon exhibits fresh lemon, lime aromas with a touch of herbaceous undertones. This wine will age gracefully, developing in colour with increasing citrus and honeyed flavours.


Shaw Estate Botrytis Semillon 2004

This specially grown dessert wine has a rich and intense bouquet. On the palate, it displays fruit and honeyed flavours. It is a fabulous wine to finish a meal with.

Moppity Vineyards Shiraz 2005

This is Mopppity's flagship wine. This opulent red has won five medals from five wine shows to date and showcases the enormous potential of the Hilltops region for producing ultra-premium red wines. The colour is deep and inky while the nose offers aromas of dark berry fruits and concentrated, with blackberry, plum and vanilla bean flavours, integrated with soft, fine-grained tannins. Cellar up to 10 years.


Moppity Rose 2005

A Rose viva la difference, one that attempts to being taken a little more seriously than mainstream styles. Beautifully bright in colour, it has a lifted nose of fresh, crushed strawberries and rose petals. The stylish palate reveals deliciously juicy cherry and berry Shiraz flavours, and a zingy refreshing finish. The perfect wine for summer afternoons, with spicy Mediterranean or Asian cuisine.


Moppity Chardonnay 2006

A full bodied style with rich honeydew melon, pineapple and stone fruit characters. The palate is long and elegant with the varietal flavours knitting in neatly with subtle French oak which adds a grilled cashew nut and spicy complexity. A delicious wine to enjoy over the next few years.


Moppity Riesling 2005

This is a zesty style, with vibrant, pure Riesling fruit characters of lemon and lime and some slatey mineral notes. This palate is fine, crisp and well balanced, making for an elegant wine with good persistence. Excellent drinking now or cellar 8-10 years for complex developed honey and toast characters.

The 2004 Sangiovese is our first straight Sangiovese. It is a lovely wine showing ripe blackcurrant flavours enhanced with sweet mocha oak and chocolate. A deep rich earthy wine which will compliment all Mediterranean lunches and dinners.

Grove Estate Wines Cellar Block Shiraz 2005

The warm, dry 2005 season has given us a Shiraz with intense black-red colour and brooding dark fruit characters: blackberry, blackcurrant, blood plum and cedar on the nose, with a rich palate chock full or earthy, savoury, spicy Shiraz notes. Give it a couple of year in the cellar to show its best.

Chalkers Crossing Hilltops Shiraz 2004

This wine was fermented in French and American oak barrels and kept on fine lees for 12 months. Clean, spicy background to tightly wound black cherry and blackberry fruit.

Chalkers Crossing Tumbarumba Chardonnay 2006

The grapes for the 2006 Tumbarumba Chardonnay were grown for us on the Maragele Creek Vineyard in the cool climate of Tumbarumba. Fermented in French oak barriques and kept on yeast lees for 15 months, this wine exhibits citrus, pineapple and vanilla aromas and flavours. The palate is soft and creamy.

Tumbarumba


Kosciusko Pinot Noir 2006

A young classic from this high altitude region dominated by perfume, violets, roses and a developing hint of cassis, cedar and new leather. It has a refreshing finish and will reward many years of cellaring. Minimal filtration to preserve delicacy during production may result in a slight deposit. Store upright and decant last glass carefully.

Kosciusko Shiraz Merlot 2006

Medium bodied, this is a delicious example of cool climate red wine. The Shiraz provides structure and rich raspberry and blackberry fruit characters with the Merlot adding elegance and floral, minty perfume. A delightfully balanced 'drink-now' wine which will reward several years of cellaring.


Kosciusko Chardonnay 2006

This wine was made to demonstrate the exceptional quality of premium fruit from the cool Tumbarumba appellation. Made in dry "Chablis" style it is fruit driven, supported by subtle French oak and partial malolactic fermentation to fill the smooth, creamy palate. Tropical and citrus fruit flavours are highlighted by a fresh, crisp, lingering finish.
